Carp and quibble

They gather around the Queen so menacingly

Putting her out of kilter so dangerously

A band of brothers united against her rule

Taking her to be everyone’s fool

Who rises up and threatening her

Giving her the royals spur

To leave them down and shut them up

In the court of the judge without luck

Carp and quibble at the slights they receive

From the royal hand within the sleeve

That hides the slight and sound and slay

Those who opposes her royal sway

Come up you pawns and play the game

Bow down at once to the royal name

Who gives you all you need and more

From the throne of the Queen the voices adore

And cause her to relent and woman play

She is not such a tyrant as they say

Come brothers unite under her guide

For she is the semblance of the Bride…
