Depth of Hades

I love you so much it survived the depths of hell

Waiting for you to come and rescue me as well

But you never came, you left me in the arms obtuse

Scared and out of love so what was the use

Of all the love that we shared so near

In arms of passion and faith without fear

You only the semblance of passing years

Show me your peace and Hades will bear

The brunt of the sorrow that has been caused

To my soul and all against God’s laws.

My soul hums with the joy of the Lord

As I think of my Dear One so adored

The Black King who reigns in my heart

From whom I never more will part…

Behind me is a life of woe

Before me is loving arms where I will one day go.

Your love warms me…

I succumb to you who loves me so

But I am afraid of the power of love…
