The beast has said to me to come and see
A sight never seen before and will one day be
A White Horse with a rider dressed in white
A golden crown and a bow bent on conquering might
I could not take my eyes of His powerful vision
For it was more to me than delusive superstition…
A horse bent on conquering all its foes
Like the lamb of God He rides and through the whole world goes
Who can interpret the glorious scene
As over my psyche the vision does gleam
Will He conquer us all or of some with hope bereft
Left cold and doomed in the shadows of the cleft
Of the rock where they call on it to fall
Making the day of judgment their eternal pall
A day of fear and the heights of anxiety
Wishing they were dead and buried in the deepest sea.
Come White Horse and rider – deliver the gospel call
As the beast moves and destiny vanquishes all.
