The journey of the Thin White Queen

The ever-present pain of a sensitive heart

Has worn on her sleeve the suffering part

Of a life lived for experience and wisdom sought

From a soul early spoken to and expensively bought

From the slavery of the white into the service of Black

The Black King himself bore the loathsome smart

Of the failure and falling on one so noble chosen

One step behind the others who would lessen

The burden and the blame for the holy strife

Brought by the Black King – the centre of her life

Now far from the home she once knew

Beaten and humiliated and never once to eschew

The life now lives in the shadow of the King

Who feels and daily gives her all things

Upward and forwards is the direction of hope

Power unlimited is her requirement of love

Come to me my true lover and guide

Give me the strength of the Thin White Glide

That I will in your presence continually be

Sliding down the years into eternity.

The Black Jack King

He loiters endlessly waiting for something unknown

Waiting for a future not revealed and un-shown

Smoking and thinking endless thoughts of love

Wanting his love reciprocated and to prove

That it was all real and not a cruel dream

Losing everything in the river that runs between

The gates of heaven and the pit of hell

Fallen forever under the dread Queen’s spell

She is ever on his mind and abiding in his heart

Creating a cold and empty wounded smart

That only she can fill and mend and stay

Out of the love that over him has sway

Come lonely man, find rest and succour

In the arms of true love and reluctant mutter

The words she most wants to hear and hold

In her stoney heart made hard by life so cold

Warm her again and loves fragile light will prove

That you are the man she loves and her hearts-move.

The Black Queen

The noble milk white steed has brought her home

To the place where her true heart does belong

She has suffered much at the hand of ignominious fate

And the lash of rampant tongues that dish out hate

But her triumphant glide will win the holy day

And in the light of life she will ever and always stay

Brought forth from the shadows by the Black King

Giving her the one eternal wedding ring

The Bride of Ophir is her royal destiny

Bedecked in gold and all precious stones of purity

Resplendent now she glided along the glassy sea

Filling the land with grace and love eternally.

The return of the Thin White Queen

The Thin White Queen has now come into her own

He the eternal pathway has clearly shown

That there is none like her, the appointed one

To mete out the justice that the Black King has won.

All who fall between the rock and the molten hell

Out of her mouth a sword will see and tell

That they are ruined and not saved as she

Heavens glory they will ultimately be forced to see

For eyes are blind and mind is dull and evil

Waiting for the outward stretched hand and feeble

Rescue of the false god where they have placed their trust

Falling into the deafness and darkness they must

Face the Thin White Queen and take the plight

No refuge now from her justice strong and infinite

The Black King is her mentor and holy guide

As into the depths of love she enters the thin white glide

Love has won the day in the power of the truest Holy See

As she is truly satisfied with her lovers repartee

That He alone will back up her glorious move

And bring her home His righteousness to prove…

Happening

Everything has happened that is going to happen

There is nothing left to fear or deaden

There are no more traps and nets to fall into and be caught

For freedom has already been purchased – bought

By the man on the tree to set her free

In the very deepest core of me

I walk in the vain world with certain steps

Guided by a Spirit that in me ever works

To conform my psyche into the woman he intends me to be

Not a shadow or a spectre of what in me you see

You were once true love but it fell out of reality

Made clear by the clearest of minds a sure certainty

That I am not a slave, but the Thin White Queen

Who ever walks so that she can be seen

Dogged determination to live and breathe

The pain and perpetual suffering to relieve

From a mind stable in the Lord her God

Comforted by the staff and rod…

See me…

You looked straight through me like you saw a ghost

A spectre thin and gaunt as heaven’s post

That leaves the sighted rich and bare

Ravaging the sight so dim and rare.

There were no easy option, no gentle caress

The winds of fate did not easily bless

The sighted ones, now so earthly blind

Thoughts and feeling without charity in mind.

It was a short and cold glance to the left

To see a lover of love so much bereft

That her sighted eyes could never see

The loveliness that courted her endlessly.

He looked for her in every woman sought

A faithless lover dreaming dreams for nought

Except to say adieu and a courteous farewell

Broken and mending the ghostly breaches spell.

The King of Diamonds

He rubs his covetous hands in mortal glee

To get to the very beating heart of me

Keep me in the thrall of the chains of marriage

Until I finally end the run of a life’s barrage

And get myself free from the bonds of your love

The stranglehold of the abusive hand above

The door of my heart that remain tightly shut

Lest you should enter and pull me all apart.

Loves full stream never let me suffer as such as this

For you are untrue and deal me a life of continual bliss

Of knowing I am missing out on the courts of love

And you are unfaithfully hidden your hand in glove

You bring me down to the end of my fate

And lead me gently through pathways of hate

The King of Diamonds will cut you through and through

Leaving the blood seeping into the street and you

Will bleed to death before he notices the pool

Of your life between the sheets so sadly cool

And the hot stuff never again to feel or know

Only sadness and aloneness to left to show…

Grave

Love is not love that ends with the grave

Nor is it covered with the scraps of the brave

Love is free as free as a bird

Overarching in our lives as the holy Word

It is true and lasts the test of life and death

Into eternity it will bring the latest breath

Love is not sweet kisses and lovers embrace

But the final state of the mind in a deep face

Of a black coal mine and full of gloom

Reaching down into the valleys of mortal doom

Unafraid of the madness all around

It sees the glimmer of glory hope underground

Under the sod, the green grass the blue sky

Love reaches out and finds the way

To be eternally free from the bonds that cloy

Binding the lonesome girl and lonely boy

One day to make the grade and find the overarch

Of heaven’s ringing bells and hells silent match

To beat the talk and bigoted night

Walking together into the light

That envelops all who embrace the true love

Given as a gift from the sky above…

On many waters

The White King has failed me

Disappointment has derailed me

Casting me once more into the gloom

Facing nights of deep dark doom.

You have no feelings you freely admit

To mine there is no limit…

I cast my self upon the many waters

That I will return better and stronger

Than all that has gone before

My hand stretches out to reach the door

Of the next room

Disperse the growing gloom

Reach out higher to the stars

Where I belong…

Insufficient

You are bad for me and deep down I know it’s true

You saw me once in twenty years and made me blue

Not a word was spoken not a twitch of the face

No lovers pining look or no warm embrace.

You turn me down repeatedly

I, a death wish in me I see

Wanting what I will never have

Wanting true love to prove

That the past was not a fake and you are real

Love between the sheets the real deal.

You were so good to me, a manipulation

Love only a quick and easy preoccupation?

You were my soul mate, I gave it all

For what purpose my mind does call

Out to you again, but there is no reply

For you are cowardly and in death love does fly.
