Alone

She walks alone without a soul-mate

Not looking for anyone for no one is great

Walking casually through the thick and the thin

Knowing which one is her native help spin.

They come and go and flit and swim

She is looking only for one – just Him

Who never leaves and always stays

Singing to her with love’s lays

Come to me my Saviour dear

Then I never more will fear

The cold of night and the warm of day

For with you I will forever stay.
