The Thin White Queen is now always on her own
As she sits ensconced on the glistening rainbow circled throne
No one can touch the coat of fur so soft
That keeps her free and always held aloft
From all the strife of wagging tongues so sharp
And keeps her heart settled on the holy lovers mark
They have all forsaken her and left her to defend
The rights of the people she does like to comprehend
That lovers come and lovers go – she knows it well
And all the majesty of her position does her heart swell
They go – they never come and all is left to weep
As over hot coals she dances in her bare and slender feet
Come now dear One, come and wipe away her tears
Dispel all doubt with a hand held out against the fear
That ravage her psyche night and day
That love itself, in person, will now forever hold sway.
